Door Stops
When used as a door trim, stop is nailed to the faces of interior door frames to prevent the door from swinging through as it is closed. Typically door stop moulding is 7/16” (11mm) thick and from 7/8” to 1-3/8” (22-25mm) wide. Two types of door stop are available: Profiled (such as Colonial pattern) and rectangular with two rounded and two square edges.
As a window trim, stop holds the bottom sash of a double hung window in place. Stop also has a decorative application as it typically is used as an apron under window stools.
At Weston Wood Solutions, we provide standard or custom stop profiles. Stop is available in 84” lengths or cut-to-size including end-mitre if required.
