Door Stile
The component of a doors’ structure or frame known as a “stile” is the upright or vertical outside member. At Weston Wood Solutions we supply both finger jointed or LVL (Laminated Veneer Lumber) door stiles - in a variety of species - manufactured to meet proprietary specifications.
Fir, poplar, and pine are the predominant wood species used in Weston Wood Solution door stiles.
Depending on customer requirements, door stiles can be primed, face primed, or unfinished. Furthermore, Weston Wood Solutions provides mortising for hinges and strikes and also machining for dado.
Door Rail
The component of a doors’ structure or frame know as a “rail” is the cross or horizontal top or bottom member. Top and bottom rails, combined with door stiles, form a doors structural frame and are typically joined by means of a machined dado joint.
Weston Wood Solutions supply door rails by custom order in the same species (fir, poplar, pine) and construction (finger-jointed or LVL) as door stiles. As with door stiles, door rails can be primed, face primed or unfinished depending on your specific requirements.
Weston Wood Solutions manufacturer stiles and rails for Interior, French, Steel, and Fibreglass doors.
Please check with us for lead times on your specific requirements. At Weston Wood Solutions we specialize in providing custom door stiles and rails to meet your exacting specifications.
